Pico do Areeiro

About this Tour

A challenging and rewarding mountain bike tour to one of Madeira's most iconic peaks.

The transfer takes us to Abrigo do Pastor at around 1,000 m. From there, we ride steadily uphill through the Ecological Park towards Pico do Areeiro, Madeira's third highest peak at 1,818 m.

After enjoying the incredible mountain views, the tour continues with a varied descent towards Caniço de Baixo, combining downhill sections, trails, levada paths, and views over Funchal.
